How we can support you
Modern healthcare in rural regions is a steadily growing challenge. With an increasing concentration of medical specialists in urban centers, intelligent, cost-efficient digital solutions are needed to implement needs-based care in the rural population as well. However, this can only be successful if far-reaching modern diagnostics can also be deployed quickly and close to the people being treated, and their results can be securely provided digitally and intelligently interpreted.
The mission of the Fraunhofer-Center for Digital Diagnostics is to develop solutions, technologies and services that enable modern diagnostically and digitally supported healthcare in rural regions.
Funded by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research and the Ministry of Science, Research and Culture of the State of Brandenburg, the Center for Digital Diagnostics is located at the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology, Branch Bioanalytics and Bioprocesses IZI-BB in Potsdam-Golm. By bundling the competencies of three core institutes, the IZI-BB, the Fraunhofer Institute for Cell Therapy and Immunology IZI, and the Fraunhofer Institute for Experimental Software Engineering IESE, the center is able to cover the entire digital diagnostic value chain.
