MEDICA 2024

From November 11 to 14, 2024, MEDICA in Düsseldorf will once again bring together leading experts from the medical industry from all around the globe.

With over 5,300 exhibitors from almost 70 countries and around 83,000 trade visitors, MEDICA is one of the largest platforms for cooperation in medical technology worldwide.

This year, the Fraunhofer Center for Digital Diagnostics ZDD^® will be represented at the joint Fraunhofer booth in Hall 3, E74 and present its trend-setting cooperations with partners from research and industry. Together with these partners, we are developing innovative solutions for digital diagnostics aimed at improving patient care.

A particular focus here is on technologies that are developed in close collaboration with industry and research partners, as well as employees from medical professions and people undergoing treatment, in order to reflect their needs and wishes in the projects. These include solutions for individualized, patient-centered and demand-driven wound care, the integration of medical data from various devices (such as wearables and smart devices) into the outpatient care process and the identification and elimination of data breaches in clinical and outpatient processes.

We will present these technologies and their development potential through key projects that show how effective partnerships can shape the future of healthcare.
